The 2025 edition of Bilang Siklista, the country’s largest citizen-led bicycle count, recorded 218,866 people on bicycles across 15 cities nationwide. Conducted from 3 July to 10 September 2025 at 180 locations during four-hour peak commuting periods, this year’s count mobilized 688 citizen volunteers.
Now in its fifth year, Bilang Siklista continues to support city and citizen efforts to gather essential data on bicycle use. The 2025 cycle introduced a pilot use of the CounterPoint digital data collection app, allowing faster and more accurate recording and reducing post-processing work for local governments. Select cities tested the app during this year’s count.
